The Jobberman Nigeria business literacy training, in collaboration with Mindsetseries International, continued from September 9th to 14th, 2024, with impactful sessions across Benue State. This initiative, supported by Arc Dr. Nguvan Kyenge and her power team has successfully mobilized and trained over 18,000 women, equipping them with essential business literacy skills. The project has proven to be a transformative force, boosting the confidence and ambition of countless women throughout Benue State.
One of the mobilizers, Alo Moses Ekpeme, shared his experience: “For the past two months, it has been a fascinating and extraordinary field experience with women in Benue State, especially in Oju and Obi LGA. We’ve mobilized and trained women in business literacy. A big shout out to Arc Nguvan Kyenge, The MindSet Series, and our incredible facilitators like Adanna Nwokafor. This project is like building a skyscraper—except instead of concrete, we’ve leveraged the uncommon leadership and principles of our lead coach and her team to transform and boost the confidence of the trained women!”
The training sessions were spread across multiple centers, offering a one-day free business literacy training at venues such as:
- Visual Lounge Resort, Uni Agric Road, Makurdi: A total of 336 young women were trained in business literacy, leadership growth, and entrepreneurship skills. Participants shared how they plan to use the skills acquired to improve customer relationship management, create visibility for their businesses on social media, and carve out unique niches in their respective industries.
- Army Protestant Church, 72 Barracks, Makurdi: Another powerful session was held where women received crucial training and were equipped to enhance their businesses.
- St. Michael’s Police Chaplain, NYSC Secretariat, Makurdi: Over 380 women participated in this session and received their certifications after completing the program.
The success of the program extended to various other centers, amongst which are:

- King’s Science and Technical College, Nyihemba, Kwande LGA
- AGB Education Centre, Gongu Street, North Bank, Makurdi
- Celebrity School, Welfare Quarters, Makurdi
- Pavilion Resort Center, Yaikyo, Makurdi
- Gboko College, Rice Mill, Gboko
- NKST Church Central, Adikpo, Kwande LGA, Benue State.
- NKST Church, Akper, Makurdi
- Trust Academy, George Akume Way, Makurdi
- Assemblies of God Church, Terwase Agbadu, Makurdi
The program’s reach and effectiveness have been extraordinary, as evidenced by the overwhelming turnout at each of these centers. Women from across Benue State eagerly attended the sessions to learn how to elevate their business acumen and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills. Each training session was met with enthusiasm, as participants shared their renewed commitment to implementing what they learned in their ventures.
