Terwase Gbande, Managing Director/CEO of Benue Digital Infrastructure Company PLC (BDIC), for his remarkable commitment to empowering the youth of Benue State. Recognizing the need for a fresh approach to youth empowerment, Hon. Gbande responded to our call to provide Benue’s aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and support they need to access the National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) federal loan.
In collaboration with BDIC and Hennis Nig Ltd, led by Jacob D. Dzurgba, we successfully guided interested Benue youth through the NYIF application process. This partnership has been a game-changer, offering 90% subsidized business feasibility plans and professional facilitation of the application process—significantly increasing the chances of these young entrepreneurs securing the much-needed funds to kickstart their businesses.
The impact of this initiative was most evident on September 5, 2024, when the hard copies of the business plans were presented to the youth at BDIC’s headquarters. This milestone event, graced by the CEO himself, marked a significant step forward in our shared mission to foster youth entrepreneurship in Benue State.
